In accordance with the directives of the Faculty of Muay Thai, Bangkok University, the only institution entitled to dictate the rules in the sector, the technical progression of the athletes / students of Muay Thai is divided into 10 levels of knowledge named Khan who, starting from the bottom they are up:

Grado	Prajet
I Khan
II Khan
III Khan
IV Khan
V Khan
VI Khan
VII Khan
VIII Khan
IX Khan
X Khan	White Mongkon

The athlete began studying Muay Thai preparing the exam program for achievement of the I Khan. Then continues with the technical progression up to the maximum level (X khan).

The khan from XI to XIII are the first technical degrees for teachers and can be achieved only after following specific training course and have passed the qualifying examination.

Such Khan, as described extensively in the section Courses, can be taken at the Muay Thai College in Thailand at the University of Bangkok, or here in Europe after presentation.

Access to these levels must always be subordinate to the exam for the White Mongkon, last level of training as a student and first level for the start of the teaching practice.

As agreed with the University of Bangkok current levels "higher" are:

X Khan	White Mongkon
XI Khan	Trainee Instructor White & Red Mongkon
XII Khan	Instructor Red Mongkon
XIII Khan	Kru Red e Yellow Mongkon

The Khan XIV and XV are achievable degrees only in Thailand and enclosing a comprehensible meaning only if you practice Muay Thai in Thailand:

XIV Khan	Arjarn Silver Mongkon
XV Khan	Arjarn Yai Gold Mongkon
