Introduction[]

The Kid is a Titan with 1 Alpha and 2 Beta hardpoints, but can use the Alpha weapon only when in Full Action. It is available in the shop for 300 Platinum. Although automatically given for free, it can still be purchased if sold.

Abilities[]

The Kid's primary ability is called Full Action. When activated, the Kid deploys its Alpha weapon and gains increased damage resistance for 10 seconds.

The Kid's secondary ability is called Stove, which functions similar to the Cinder weapon. It creates a ring of fire around the Kid which deals damage to any enemies within its radius. Stove bypasses physical, energy, Aegis and ABSORBER shields. This is useful when engaging multiple enemies at close-range and when dealing with bots using stealth or hiding behind structures. Stove also bypasses Defense Points, making it effective against enemies with Defense Points.

Strategy[]

The Kid is one of the three Titans released with the 5.6 update (Nodens was added in a later update 6.0.0).

Being the first Titan obtained, the Kid is meant to get the player acquainted to Titan mechanics. It has high base durability (the fifth highest among all Titans below Luchador, Sharanga, Newton and Rook), but no shielding or special movement abilities.

A recommended strategy for Kid is to utilize cover and attack the enemy by using corner shooting. If possibly, only engage other Titans after activating Full Action ability.

Despite the Kid's high durability, it is vulnerable when its Full Action ability wears off. Therefore it's recommended to pair it with a healer robot or Titan (Khepri, Nightingale, Demeter, Mender, Tyr and Weyland, or Nodens, Heimdall and Sirius).

The Stove is very effective at removing bots "hugging" the Kid (making it difficult to aim the Kid's weapons at such an extreme angle) and disposing of stealth and shielded robots. The large radius of the Stove can hit enemies underneath it (examples on Moon and Carrier) and flying bots above it as long as they are in a 100 meter radius.

Trivia[]

• Kid is one of three robots with a "head" (the others being Aether and Nether).
• When using Kid’s Stove ability, It can bypass Damage Resistance, making it easier for the Kid to deal with Falcon, Fenrir, Phantom, Invader, Leech, and titans.
• There is what seems to be a rocket launcher mounted on the Kid's right shoulder. However, it has no functionality and serves purely as an aesthetic.
• The Kid is one of three robots that do not utilize digitigrade legs (the others being Arthur & Aether), thus, giving it a more humanoid-like appearance.
• This titan is named after Billy the Kid, an infamous gunslinger.
• This is the titan member of the "Outlaw Gang" (along with Jesse, Butch and Doc).
• The Kid originally was cheaper than the Vengeance, at 300 while the Vengeance was 400 Platinum. So buying Kid would be more beneficial than buying the Vengeance because you would get 2 extra Retaliators along with another Titan. This has been changed in the recent update.
