Three modes and a code.
By Andrew SmithUpdated: Dec 2, 2019 12:25 amPosted: Dec 2, 2019 12:24 amKingdom Hearts 3 fans have finally gotten more information on the ReMind DLC that is set to release this "winter." Unfortunately, there has not been a release date announced yet — but Director Tetsuya Nomura recently revealed a little bit about what players can expect from the DLC.First reported by Eurogamer, new details about the Kingdom Hearts 3 ReMind DLC were shared with attendees of a KH3 Orchestra performance in Osaka, Japan this past weekend. Twitter user Mel_lifluous, one of the concert attendees, took to Twitter to publicize all of the details that Nomura shared at the performance.
View 31 ImagesIn her thread, she shared that a Photo mode, Slideshow mode, Fast Pass mode, and "Black Code" would be part of the ReMind DLC. Further, she explained that Nomura promised that a Kingdom Hearts 3 DLC trailer would be released next month (meaning December) and that it might include a release date. However, it is important to note that none of this information has been confirmed by Square Enix in any sort of official press release.Photo and Slideshow mode are pretty much what you'd expect, according to reports, and allow users to take pictures and make slideshows of their favorite in-game characters.Fast Pass mode will allow users to "change difficulty settings," according to the report from Twitter. "There were too many potential settings, went by so fast, but Fast Pass Mode lets you essentially one-shot kill enemies and had at least 7 attractions / spells stacked up above the combat menu.""Black Code" will be similar, allowing the player to "tweak difficulty to extra hard including choosing how much health you have." the Twitter user states, "The example battle was against Marshmallow in Frozen world. The demo player had to constantly block his swiping attacks and had no way to heal (used a kupo coin though)."According to Eurogamer's reporting, Nomura said he wouldn't be able to share the release date because ""people would get mad at him." It's unclear what he meant specifically.Players got their first look at the ReMind DLC at E3 earlier this year, and have been anxiously awaiting a release date ever since. Another Kingdom Hearts 3 ReMind trailer was released at the Tokyo Game Show in September, but fans still weren't given a release date. With the DLC planned to release this "winter" hopefully the reported December trailer will finally give fans what they've been waiting for. Andrew Smith is a freelance contributor at IGN.
