Lệnh GTC (tiếng Anh: Good 'Til Canceled) là một lệnh cho phép nhà đầu tư có thể mua hoặc bán chứng khoán vẫn hoạt động cho đến khi lệnh được thực hiện hoặc nhà đầu tư hủy lệnh. Lệnh GTC là một lệnh thay thế cho lệnh có giá trị trong ngày (day order), lệnh có giá trị trong ngày sẽ hết hạn nếu không được thực hiện vào cuối ngày giao dịch. Mặc dù có tên như vậy, các lệnh GTC thường không hoạt động vô thời hạn. Hầu hết các nhà môi giới đặt các lệnh GTC hết hạn sau 30 đến 90 ngày kể từ khi các nhà đầu tư đặt chúng để tránh việc một lệnh bị lãng quên từ lâu đột nhiên được thực hiện.

Ví dụ về lệnh GTC

Các nhà đầu tư thường đặt lệnh GTC vì họ muốn mua ở mức giá thấp hơn mức giao dịch hiện tại hoặc bán ở mức giá cao hơn mức giao dịch hiện tại. Nếu cổ phiếu của một cổ phiếu A hiện đang giao dịch ở mức 100 đô la, nhà đầu tư có thể đặt lệnh mua GTC ở mức 95 đô la. Nếu thị trường di chuyển đến ngưỡng đó trước khi nhà đầu tư hủy lệnh GTC hoặc nó hết hạn, giao dịch sẽ được thực hiện.
