Teaching aids: textbook, handout, pictures Time/ Stages Contents Teacher’s activities Students’ activities 5’ ** Warm up Kim’s Game Fairy tales, otherwise, avoid, achievement, fascinating, jungle,available, profitbly - Showing a poster containing these words - Dividing the whloe class into 2 groups - Asking students to look at these words in 1minute - Making these words disappear - Asking students to write down these words on the board - Correcting - Declaring the winner - Looking at the poster - Writing these word - Taking notes - Giving a big clap Lead in What do you like to do in your free time? We’ll continue unit 13,part C to know another hobby Pre- listening 10’ Vocabulary 1. bygone (adj): những ngày đã qua (Situation) 2. gigantic (adj): lớn, khổng lồ (synonym) 3. ignorant (adj): ngu dốt (translation) 4. (to) be fed up with: chán ngấy 5. (to) cope with: đương đầu, đối phó ** Rub out and remember - Today is Tuesday, yesterday is Monday, the day before Monday is Sunday. How can we call Sunday, Monday? - How can we say “những ngày đã qua” in English? - What is the synonym of “big”? - How can we say “ngu dốt” - If you have to do the same thing day after day, how do you feel?
