ImperatorBellus There are differences between the CX and C9. Major differences The CX has a better Black Frame Insertion feature that has more ways to configure it. Most people don't use this feature though. Minor differences The C9 has slightly higher color volume and better gradient (most won't notice) C9 has slightly better gray uniformity (most won't notice) The C9 can do 12 bit 48gbps on HDMI 2.1 while the CX can do 10 bit 40gbps on HDMI 2.1. This doesn't matter since both are 10 bit screens anyway. Someone told me they noticed no difference on the C9 using it as a PC on 10 bit and 12 bit, he thinks keeping it on 12 bit might help with any color banding issues, is this true? I know color banding only occurs depending on what content you are watching or which game you are playing. The C9 has DTS support while the CX does not but this only matters for some apps and if you use a bluray player. The C9 has a bit higher peak brightness but this is likely due to the panel lottery. It can be assumed that more C9's have a bit higher peak brightness than more CX models since both rtings and HDTV test measured a higher peak brightness on the C9. At this point, the differences between the both are so minute you're not even going to notice them realistically.
