LuxLOL L Hi, I'm not sure what display would be the best fit for a PC display. I read that the C9 gets a little bit brighter than the CX. Does the CX have no advantages over the C9 as a PC display? #1 · Nov 24, 2020 (Edited) Hi, I'm not sure what display would be the best fit for a PC display. Sort by Oldest first Oldest first Newest first Most reactions #2 · Nov 24, 2020 For me the biggest advantage of cx over c9 is the 48inch size, 55inch is too big for desktop use, i have the 55 c6 and try it as a monitor and was too big, before i ordered the cx 48 i borrowed a friend 48inch tv just as a test and it felt just perfect, so now i m waiting for my cx 48 to be delivered. The c9 has 48gbps hdmi 2.1 , the cx has 40gbps 2.1, it wont make a difference for pc since u can do 4k 120fps hdr 10bit rgb 444 on both . #3 · Nov 24, 2020 55" is not a problem for me because i will use it from a sofa. And the 48GB HDMI will not benefit me beacese the C9/CX panels are 10-bit not 12-bit. 1 Reply #5 · Nov 25, 2020 No worries about burn in? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk #7 · Nov 25, 2020

Nope. I put 6800 hours on my B7 prior to upgrading and ran the test slides for the new owner when I sold it... no burn in... not that I was ever worried about it. It just takes a little common sense... and not believing everything you read on the internet.

That. ^ Like I said... common sense. Hiding the taskbar is one of those common sense things along with using the pixel shift and other preventative measures the TV has. OLED is my baby... LCD will never be anything more than a cheap $200 guest bedroom TV like the one I bought a month ago to replace a 6 year old panel. 0 Reply #6 · Nov 25, 2020 (Edited) Burn-in isn't a big problem anymore with the new panels. For me the LCD technology was a downgrade from a good CRT except the wight. :) And now with the OLED technology and the upcoming panel technologies like QD-OLED and EL-QD, we finally have now a real CRT replacement. #8 · Nov 25, 2020 That’s great to hear. I’ll set up mine today. I’m looking forward to work, game on it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Insert Quotes Post Reply
