Apr 10, 2014 202 0 4,680 Hello! I will be getting the Logitech G502 Gaming Mouse soon and I thought I might as well buy a nice mouse pad aswell. The 2 mouse pads I'm interested in currently is the Logitech G240 (Cloth) and the G440 (Hard surface). I will be playing FPS mostly and I use a desktop if that helps. So I will not be needing to move my mouse pad alot. I will also probably will be gaming with 1800DPI mostly . I'm mainly worried about fraying issue with the G240 cloth. Any advice is appreciated! Solution i tried out the g502 proteus core for about a week. good button placement compared to other mice. decent shape too. i would like to note that i found the mouse just a bit narrow for my medium sized hands and bottom-side grip half-palm sort of grip style. my ring and pinky finger curled under a bit when gripping in this way which was uncomfortable. otherwise, great mouse. about fraying... i think the razer goliathus pads have edge stitching around them to prevent fraying. i personally used a cloth mousepad (click build in my signature for photo of my pad) and it worked well. i normally advise against hard pads because some brands/designs can actually be a bit abrasive and wear the teflon feet of your pad faster than they would wear... One other thing I'm worried about is how well the G502 would respond on each type of mouse pad. I don't know if it does well on hard mat or a soft one. I got the DeathAdder for $80 here in Canada. Same price as the G502. I really liked the way I could hold the DeathAdder though, yeah. Feb 9, 2015 52 0 10,530 This is probably not useful but ill throw my 2 cents in for future people who may be considering the logitech hard mouse pad. I used it with an Anker 8200 dpi lazer mouse, so a standard gaming mouse nothing too crazy and at first the mouse pad was awesome - very very smooth with plenty of glide (significantly more than the steel series qck cloth pad which i was using previously) however literally after i would say 2 - 3 months the mouse pad really started to lose its smoothness and glide and this process definitely took a toll on my mouse feet too. I'm now at about 4-5 months usage and the pad is significantly less smooth with a fair bit of friction and has basically worn out my mouses feet. Maybe it was just my set up or something but people looking to buy this pad be warned of it potentially wearing out really quickly and burning through you mouse feet. Upvote 1 Downvote D

Well, I bought about 1 month and a week the G502 gaming mouse and G240 Cloth mouspad.
