The G933 is a true disappointment. The build quality feels cheap and does not give the impression that you are holding a high-quality Logitech product. When wearing the headset, the plastic band creaks and groans, making you think it's about to fall apart. The quality of the microphone seems worse than its predecessor, as do the speakers, which I suspect is due to the material used around the ear cup. It does have a large number of alternative connectivity options though.
Pros
- Variety of connectivity options
Cons
- Build quality
- Sound experience incomparable to predecessor models
- Microphone sound appears less clear than predecessor model

Went from a pair of use Steel Series Siberia's, years ago, to a pair of these. First time using them, BF4. Was shocked to hear a guy parachuting down behind me and not only be able to tell direction but also height, behind me. Turned around and was completely correctly. That must have been nearly 10 years ago and I was such a leap I still remember it clearly. Im a pretty big audiophile and these have surprisingly held up. Bass is impressive but not overwhelming unless you want it to. Then they absolutely can. But clearly. The virtual 7.1, as Ive since learned, is damn good and clean. As long as my tinkering with different audio software didnt muck things up. These are basically my reference for the last 10 years. A few months ago, I broke a ear. Wires still connected but no actual plastic. Was half happy becuase I research headphones all the time. Must have at least 10 in ears. Found a pair of Nova 5's locally in stock and Novas are raved about all over... Not remotely close. Not even on the same planet. Software is garbage but everyone will tell you to run them with out it. After a night of stuggling and thinking I must have set someithng wrong, Connected my old, broken, ear hanging G933's. Night and bloody day. Even running them, through the steel series software. Still fantastic. It was geniunely shocking enough that I googled "nova 5s worse than G933's" and found this site. At this point I'll probably try and update to a non-10 year old LG headset, but I cant stress enough how wildly better they are. The Novas are the current SS's flagships and this headset is at least 10 years old. I dont know if LG is next level or SS is just inferior for headsets. Either way. If anyones on the fence, I dont want to sound like the "dont waste your money" people.... But... clearly there are better options.. like this, 10 years after its been out and even with a broken ear...
Pros
- Sound Quality
- Clarity
- Sound Stage
- No Seriously. For a "Gaming" headset. Best Ive heard.
Cons
- Can Feel Cheap
- Lack of Connectivity Options
