Low-profile AM4 Air Cooler That Is Quiet Under Non-load Conditions

I have a Ryzen 5 5600X (65W TDP) and I want an air cooler to go with it.

Many fans are rated on their volume under load but my PC is rarely under such loads, so I am looking for some that are quiet under 'standard' conditions (Web browser, light gaming).

Any suggestions?

I have no knowledge on cooling solutions but from what i have heard some noctua coolers are great

I won't be overclocking the CPU.

Though my case will fit a tower CPU air cooler, I don't want one of those as they're unsightly.

Under stock operation these coolers will be overwhelmed and you'll end up with running base clock under sustained loads, the nh-L12s or shadow rock will probably be your best performers.

Would recommend undervolting to manage thermals, but do as you wish.

they wont, all of them are fine for a 5600x, including the stock cooler

Surely all seven would run the CPU at maximum frequency/load for an extended amount of time?

I think half of the benefit of the Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 product is the fan

Why? Its a tiny cooler made for tiny itx cases that cant fit a proper one. Might be a bit better than the stock one if you are lucky.
