When Professor Leo Yee Sin's son came down with Covid-19 last month, he isolated himself in his room and monitored his oxygen levels with an oximeter. His throat was very sore but he recovered and no one else at home was infected.He would have been in good hands if it had been worse, for his mother is an infectious diseases expert, and also executive director of the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID).
