XDGX I Direct Gas Heated Make-up Air Unit Efficiently combining heating, cooling, and airflow capacities with A2L refrigerants

PDX cooled unit is engineered to safely integrate R-454B refrigerant and continue delivering the benefits of direct gas-fired, 100 percent outdoor air ventilation, cooling, and heating.

Highly configurable

Modular design provides the most configuration flexibility and expanded heating and airflow capacities

Airflow volumes

Range from 800 to 15,000 cfm including ultra-efficient heating capacities up to 1,600,000 BTU/hr

Turndown

Our proprietary barometric pressure damper system provides for at least 50% turndown in airflow in variable volume applications, an additional 250% turndown over our nearest competitor, which means improved energy savings without added cost

Durable construction

Designed for maximum weather resistance, XDG housings are constructed of heavy-gauge G90 galvanized steel

Easy maintenance

Large access panels are provided for easy inspection and maintenance of motors, drives, fan wheels, filters and heater controls

Direct gas-fired system

Featuring high-quality cast aluminum burners with stainless steel mixing plates

Maxitrol electronic modulation burner control

Provides precise and instantaneous temperature control

Code compliant

The control center includes a standard magnetic motor starter, control transformer and disconnect switch. All electrical components are UL Listed, Recognized or Classified and an option for factory prewired single-point power connection

Precision tooling

Shafts are precision turned, ground and polished steel sized so that the first critical speed is at least 25% over the maximum operating speed

Noise control

Fan and motor assembly is mounted on vibration isolators to minimize noise transmission into the building

Reliable fan performance

Air performance ratings from Accurex's accredited test chamber ensure accurate data

Factory wired and tested

All units are tested prior to shipment for proper operation of the gas train, electrical components and airflow

Cooling Options

Evaporative cooling, chilled water or direct expansion (DX cooling)
