Vendor of the Week – 2.12.25
N C Fernance of Junction Hill was selected as the ‘vendor of the week’ at the Grafton prime cattle sale on Tuesday December 2nd, 2025. The vendor was selected for their offering of 2 head, including a yearling Speckle Park bull (pictured) and an Angus-cross heifer. The young bull weighed 320kg and sold for 400c/kg to gross the vendor $1,280.00. The offering was sold by Farrell McCrohon Stock and Station Agents of Ulmarra.
Stock Comment: 18th November 2025
A large mixed quality yarding was on offer with most processors operating. Heavy bulls sold firm. A large number of cows were offered, heavy cows sold firm to dearer 6 to 8 cents while medium and lighter weight cows were stronger 15 to 20 cents. Bullocks and export heifers were well represented selling dearer up to 20 to 30 cents. Weiner cattle were of mixed quality and was reflected in the prices, however most categories remain firm.
