FAQs
1. How many types of engines are in a Maruti Suzuki?
Maruti Suzuki makes a wide range of engines. You’ll find petrol and CNG across most of its models, each built around efficiency and reliability. The company mainly uses the K-Series, the newer Z-Series, and DualJet variants – all tuned to balance power and mileage for Indian roads.
2. What are the 4 types of engines?
Engines generally fall into four main types – inline, V-type, flat, and rotary. Inline engines are simple, smooth, and most common in everyday cars. V-type ones are used for stronger power delivery. Flat and rotary engines are rare now, seen mostly in performance machines that chase speed over simplicity.
3. Which is better, V4 or V6 engine?
A V4 engine is compact and efficient, perfect for smaller or mid-size cars. The V6 brings more muscle – smoother acceleration, higher power, and a deeper sound. But with that comes more fuel use. It’s a trade between calm practicality and raw strength.
4. Which is the best engine of Maruti Suzuki?
That title belongs to the 1.2-litre DualJet K-Series engine. It’s smooth, durable, and designed for long Indian commutes. Found in cars like the Swift and Baleno, it delivers quiet power without burning extra fuel – steady, dependable, and built to last.
