One year after the successful market launch of the first ever Miele countertop coffee maker, the company is offering its new CM 5200 coffee machine. The first key benefit is that now cappuccino and latte macchiato can be served at the touch of a single button. OneTouch Miele coffee machine can even dispense two drinks into separate cups or glasses if required. The second is the fully automatic rinsing cycle of milk lines which flushes the milk lines with water from the tank, ensuring excellent hygiene.

Designed for demanding coffee connoisseurs, the new Miele CM 5200 allows you to choose coffee, espresso, cappuccino and latte macchiato using fast-access buttons. Other choices are caffè latte, hot milk, milk froth and hot water. This coffee machine also prepares two identical drinks simultaneously – simply press the Start button twice. As on all Miele coffee machine models, the quantity of ground coffee, the brew temperature, the prebrew setting and the volume of coffee delivered can all be adjusted easily to taste. Thanks to an automatic rinse function , the CM 5200 Miele coffee maker is very easy to clean and maintain. There is no need to use separate containers or cleaning agents. Rinsing of the milk pipework takes place automatically as soon as the machine is switched off after preparing a drink involving the use of milk. All that needs to be done is to insert the end of the milk tube through the drip tray cover. Alternatively, rinsing can be started manually from the menu. In order to avoid residual water in the pipework, steam is piped through the milk lines at the end of the cycle. More thorough cleaning is only required once a week, involving the removal of the Cappuccinatore and the milk lines. Individual parts are both easily accessible and dishwasher-proof. Despite apparent similarities with other models within the range – all based on reliable Miele coffee system, the CM 5200 quietly sets new standards – the velvety Jet Black SoftTouch surface finish and the stainless-steel drip tray cover discreetly underline this new coffee machine status as true company flagship. Also available in Lotus White, the CM 5200 was put through its paces in an excruciating battery of tests to simulate a life cycle of 20 years or 50,000 cups of espresso or coffee.
