and disappointed when my Miele dishwasher suffered a major component failure after only five years of normal household use. According to Miele’s own website, their products are tested to last 20 years under normal conditions. Yet I was quoted $1,170 to fix the problem. When I contacted Miele, they offered to cover the cost of the replacement part — around $700 — but not the labour. Honestly, I laughed. A premium product from a premium brand shouldn’t fail so quickly, and certainly shouldn’t leave the customer footing a hefty repair bill for something that clearly shouldn’t have happened. This experience has seriously shaken my confidence in the Miele brand. For the price I paid and the promises made, I expected both better product durability and better customer support. What has happened to you, Miele?

single, elderly person so has not been subjected to heavy usage. I was not happy to be quoted a $175 call out fee just to look at the problem. This very expensive dishwasher should not be having such a problem after such little use. I would hope Miele will come and address this obvious design flaw which is patently not a breakdown!

31/1/22. Miele responded promptly to my issue and sent out a technician at no charge. The issue appears to be resolved. Time will tell! Thank you Miele.

holders. I cant tell you how happy I am to have this built in feature, given the propensity with which we entertain and we do love Reidel traditional stemware. The other great thing about the machine is that it cleverly opens when it is complete as a sign that the cycle has ended. We have had ASKO XXL machines prior to the Miele but found that ASKO's service and reliability were appalling. We have two young children and one of our children has a severe disability which means we are doing 3-4 loads a day. We couldn't afford to have a machine that was unreliable and worse still had to wait weeks before a technician would come to the home to assess the problem. We were very happy to say goodbye to ASKO. Do yourself a favour and buy the Miele

provide extremely pathetic technical assistance. Shame on Miele. Was told they didn’t provide service in our area as it is in blue mountains. and if they sent a technician I would have to pay for it. I hadn’t even had the machine installed for more than 4 hours and I has to pay for service??? I may need to take this up with dept of fair trading.

Miele Installation Service - Not this particular dishwasher but the installation service – I bought a fully integrated dishwasher from Miele to replace a Bosch dishwasher that Bosch would not attempt to fix. After paying for the dishwasher, the installation and the removal of the old dishwasher the Miele installers could not remove our old dishwasher because it was placed insitu, then the kitchen floor was tiled after. that we now have to remove the old dishwasher.

What I do not understand is that Miele will not return to install the dishwasher after we have removed the old one but will refund our money.

Great Dishwasher – After 10+ years our trusty old Miele dishwasher passed away. After speaking with Miele we were guided to one that would exactly replace the existing dishwasher as it is fully built in. Sure enough they delivered the new dishwasher, installed it and then took the old one away. To date we are very happy with the dishwasher. It is a great family sized dishwasher with all the bells and whistles you would expect of Miele. Very happy.  Show details
