MIWA Electric Strike AS Series

The MIWA Electric Strike AS Series is a frame-mounted electric strike used in combination with automatic locking door locks. When the door closes, the lock engages automatically, and access is controlled by electrically operating the strike when required.

It is widely applied in apartment common entrances, emergency exits, building access points, and managed areas. When integrated with access control systems, it delivers stable daily access management and reliable emergency response.

Depending on installation conditions and operational requirements, the AS Series is available in three types: ASR / AST / ASE. It supports supply for both consumer applications (B2C) and project-based installations (B2B).

Power Supply & System Configuration

The AS Series is available with DC12V or DC24V power specifications and can be controlled through access control controllers or dedicated power supply units.

Lock release status and door open/close status can be monitored via dry contact outputs, enabling stable integration with a wide range of access control systems.

Model Features

ASR Type

Unlocks when power is lost, making it suitable for emergency exits and environments where safety regulations require doors to open during power failure.

Selection guide: when doors must unlock automatically during power failure (egress/safety compliance)

AST Type

Unlocks while power is supplied, ideal for apartment entrances and controlled access areas.

Selection guide: typical choice for common entrances with access control integration

ASE Type

Momentary unlock with maintained release, suitable for spaces directly managed by authorized personnel.

Selection guide: when an authorized person wants momentary control and maintained release behavior
