Terms and Conditions

 

Terms & Conditions

1. Booking DepositFor advance bookings, a booking deposit equivalent to 100% of the rental rate is payable for each set of costume/service. Upon payment, the costume(s) will be reserved for the collection date.Note: The booking deposit/rental fee is non-refundable.

2. PaymentAll prices are quoted in Singapore dollars unless otherwise stated. All payments must be made prior to collection.

3. Rental Periods & Refundable DepositsThe rental period begins on the day of collection and must be returned on or before the date specified on the rental agreement (invoice).Refundable deposits cannot be made via credit card; any additional card charges will be paid by the client.Refundable deposits will be returned via PayNow to the mobile number provided, unless otherwise instructed.

Rental Deposit Rates:

• Local Rental - Costumes: $100/set
• Local Rental - Mascots: $200/set
• Extended/Overseas Rentals: $200-$500/setNote: Foreign renters (non-Singapore IC/PR/EP holders) are required to place a $300 refundable deposit depending on the rental period.

4. Late ReturnLate returns will incur a charge equivalent to 100% of the prorated rental fee for the extended period.

5. Exchange / Cancellation / RefundOnce payment is made, costumes cannot be exchanged or refunded. Costume changes prior to collection will incur a $25 charge per set.Booking deposits are non-refundable for any cancellations, including but not limited to ill-fitting costumes, event changes, or function cancellations.Refunds, if provided under exceptional circumstances, will be subject to administrative charges.

6. Missing Items, Loss, or DamageClients should inspect their rented items upon collection and notify us of any damages or missing items. CCM Costume Rental Pte. Ltd. will not be liable for delivery-related issues.In the case of loss or damage, clients may be charged for repair or replacement costs.

• Repairable damage: Up to 50% of the item’s prevailing value.
• Irreparable damage or loss: Full prevailing value or the option for clients to replace the missing or damaged costume within 3 weeks.

7. Rental BagsAll rental bags (e.g., costume covers, mascot bags) must be returned. Failure to do so will incur the following charges:

• metal hanger: $2
• Carrier bag: $5
• Costume/ prop printout folder: $5
• Costume cover: $10
• Mascot bag: $100

8. AlterationsAlterations will be performed by CCM Costume Rental Pte. Ltd. prior to collection, where possible. Customers are responsible for informing us of any self-made alterations.CCM Costume Rental Pte. Ltd. reserves the right to reject alteration requests for delicate fabrics or costumes that may be compromised by alterations.

9. Costume FittingsShowroom fittings are free of charge for up to 3 sets of costumes. A $30 charge per additional set applies from the 4th set onwards.

10. LaundryCostumes will be laundered by CCM Costume Rental Pte. Ltd. at no extra cost (one wash). Special laundry requests (e.g., stain removal) may incur additional charges.

11. LiabilitiesCCM Costume Rental Pte. Ltd. is not responsible for accidents, allergies, damage, or loss resulting from the use of rental items. Clients are fully liable for costumes taken overseas or managed by third-party couriers.

12. DeliveriesDeliveries are handled by third-party courier services. CCM Costume Rental Pte. Ltd. is not liable for any delays or missing items during delivery. Deliveries are typically scheduled between 11am and 5pm daily. Clients agree to promptly respond to the courier services provider for the necessary arrangements. An additional/ repeat courier arrangment fee will be bourne by client if the client is uncontable during the delivery/ pick-up causing an unsucessful courier service. 

13. Dispute ResolutionIn the event of any disputes arising from these terms and conditions, the client agrees to resolve the matter through arbitration. By accepting these terms, the client consents to binding arbitration as the sole means of dispute resolution.

14. AmendmentsCCM Costume Rental Pte. Ltd. reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.

Refund policy

For advance bookings, a booking deposit equivalent to 100% of the rental rate is payable for each set of costume/ service. Upon payment, costume(s) will be set aside for collection date. Should the event be canceled/ order cannot be fulfilled, this deposit is not refundable. Kindly reach out to us directly should there be a change of your event date, we will try our best to accommodate the change with the same set of costumes.
