Nexans XGB Cca ULTIMO in Nbox

Nexans XGB Cca ULTIMO in NBOX is a halogen-free and UV-resistant installation cable for 0.6/1kV, delivered in a practical cardboard box. It is suitable for fixed installations in residential, utility, and industrial projects – indoors, outdoors, and underground in well-drained ducts. Thanks to its advanced sheath technology, it can be stripped up to 80% faster: one circular incision, then kink and pull – without risk of injury or conductor damage. The marking is extra clear, even in low light. The NBOX adds further efficiency: countdown meter marking for precise use, a compact format for easy transport and storage, and a smooth pay-off system without springback. Operating range -20 °C to +60 °C. Fire performance Cca-s1,d2,a1 according to EN 50575 and compliant with AREI s1 a1. Produced in Belgium and supplied with an environmental declaration (PEP EcoPassport).

The Nexans XGB Cca Nbox contains the Nexans XGB Cca installation cable and is available for the most common types, in 4 lengths:

• Nexans XGB 3G1.5 mm² - 140 meters
• Nexans XGB 3G2.5 mm² - 120 meters
• Nexans XGB 5G1.5 mm² - 100 meters
• Nexans XGB 5G2.5 mm² - 80 meters

Nbox dimensions: 390 mm x 390 mm x 190 mm

CONSTRUCTION

• Bare copper conductor (class 1), stranded from 16 mm² upwards (class 2)
• Insulation: cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE)
• Halogen-free filler or tape
• Outer sheath: halogen-free thermoplastic material, green
• Fire reaction class: Cca-s1,d2,a1 according to EN 50575.

APPLICATIONS

• Suitable for fixed installation in cable trays, conduits, walls and concrete
• For indoor and outdoor use (no additional UV protection required) and underground in well-drained conduits
• Permissible ambient temperature: -20 °C to +80 °C (no movement or mechanical stress allowed below 0 °C)
• UV resistance according to EN 50289-4-17 (test duration: 720 h) – perfectly suited to the Belgian climate​
• In residential or industrial installations
