New All-electric Renault Kangoo E-Tech Goes On Sale From £26500

Pricing and specification details for the new Renault Kangoo E-Tech have been revealed, with it starting from £26,500 after the Plug-in Vehicle Grant has been applied.

Renault’s new pure electric Kangoo is equipped with a 45kW battery - which sits under the load floor - and offers a range of up to 186 miles.

Using a typical 7kW wallbox home charger the Kangoo E-Tech can be charged in under seven hours. Charging with a rapid DC charger at up to 75kW, the van can replenish its battery in around 43 minutes.

Renault offers a warranty to cover the battery’s performance for eight years or 100,000 miles.

The Kangoo is available in two trim levels, Start and Advance, with every new van equipped with a 3.5-inch driver display, DAB radio with Bluetooth and USB connectivity.

Safety features fitted as standard include hill start assist, emergency e-call and cruise control.

E-Tech models also get automatic air-conditioning, heated front windscreen, heated seats and Z.E. Voice, which allows you to control certain car functions with speech.

Buyers who opt for Advance trim get a bigger 8-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Advance models also get bigger 16-inch wheels.

The Kangoo E-Tech has a load volume of 4.2㎥ and a maximum payload of 615kg

Deliveries are expected in October, with the Kangoo E-Tech starting from £26,500. The van is still eligible for the Plug-in Vehicle Grant which offers a saving of up to £2500.
