Netsurfer733 If anyone is familiar with the G602 mouse, it had this feature mentioned in a review: "What’s more, Logitech has also bound a mode switcher to the G602’s central button. You can use this to switch from “performance” mode to “endurance”, which will give you 1,440 hours of battery life. However, this does reduce response accuracy and sensitivity, so you’ll want to use this only when you’re not actually gaming." https://www.trustedreviews.com/reviews/logitech-g602-gaming-mouse When I had my G602 before this G604, I always noticed a much, much more powerful mouse sensitivity wise, accuracy wise, etc. It was so much easier to click things and do high intensity gaming and the like. With the G604, I no longer have that control, but I KNOW the mouse is way beyond in terms of quality. But I am not entirely sure the current 800 DPI setting I have it set to *translates* to this high accuracy/sensitivity or what not that the G602 had. I think I heard that increasing DPI and lowering sensitivity in games is genuinely indistinguishable, as opposed to this G602 setting. Is that true? Or what can I do to get the same sort of quality boost that I did when I switched my G602 to performance mode? #1 · Oct 29, 2019 If anyone is familiar with the G602 mouse, it had this feature mentioned in a review: "What’s more, Logitech has also bound a mode switcher to the G602’s central button. Do I increase its DPI and lower sensitivity in windows? Or does that do nothing? #3 · Nov 1, 2019 leave Windows sensitivity alone and just adjust DPI to where you like it and then leave it. Past that adjust mouse sensitivity as needed on a game to game to basis via in-game options. there's a never ending debate about it but I'd imagine as long as your DPI isn't so high that you have jitter issues (generally not an issue with good sensors and at reasonable DPI) then it doesn't matter. I like low-ish DPI in Windows, I run 600 DPI. I dunno what games you play but I run a CS:GO in-game sens of 1.2, it's about as low as I can go while still being able to do a 180° without running out of mouse space. #4 · Nov 5, 2019 I'm running 800 DPI indeed, and I just can't...really convince myself I feel like i have the same *accuracy* when wanting to move my mouse slowly, or what have you over certain things. Used to be I flipped that old switch and I could spin on a dime or shoot an apple off a head or what have you. Now...I am not feeling that. Are you suggesting that I should just lower my sensitivity for that? I'd be moving slower than usual if I did... Trying to think more outside the box lol. #5 · Nov 5, 2019 run whatever DPI and sensitivity you want, it doesn't matter what everyone else does if you found something that works.
