That would work great for second/third cutting; what about first cutting thick hay for small square baling where that would be way to much hay? Shelia #4 · Nov 16, 2018 We rake 2-3 ton hay regularly. If it gets really heavy i just cut two 14' windrows or even two 13's. Easy to do with a SP cutter. #5 · Nov 16, 2018 They will go as narrow as you want. I have owned several sets of them.
