On May 4, three monastics from Deer Park Monastery in Escondido, CA, joined a local memorial ceremony for the AAPI community, along with dozens of monastics and teachers from other Buddhist lineages. We spoke with Sister Kinh Nghiem about her experience attending this memorial ceremony and offering her reflections on sila, one of the six paramitas, to a diverse Buddhist audience.

An inspiring interview with Sister Dang Nghiem on how to practice deeply without being a monastic, how to practice during the pandemic, and how to become your own soulmate.

We are very happy to announce the new Plum Village parallel verses to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year – year of the Ox. These practice phrases are a poetic gift that we can print out and post around our living quarters or at work as a reminder to practice mindfulness.

A beautiful and powerful Q&A session with Thich Nhat Hanh.

For Thich Nhat Hanh’s 94th continuation day (birthday), we invited our International Plum Village community to join us in practicing walking meditation, sharing an image of your meditation along with a condition for happiness that you noticed during your meditation. We were so happy to receive hundreds of photos. Please enjoy a sample of submitted photos in this post.
