NF C33-210 distribution network cables

The low-carbon power grid cables for distribution public networks (buried and aerial), 100% manufactured in France (plant Jeumont 59), guarantee a minimum 35% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared to standard cables.

• Product NF C33-210

Application

Low voltage buried cables with standard NF C33-210 for distribution public networks, three conductors + neutral.

Characteristics

The phase conductors are made of solid or stranded circular (class 2) aluminum depending on type.

The neutral conductor made of Core : aluminum stranded circular (class 2) of solid round and sheathed with lead.

The watertightness between the lead sheath is made with a waterproof material.

Conductors laid up/Filling

The phase conductors and neutral are assembled in a way, which makes them easy to separate to splice with branching wires.

Over phase and neutral conductors, a galvanized steel armour wound in direct the lead sheath. This construction is then sheathed PVC, with high mechanical properties.

Filler PVC material only 50 mm2.

Electrical characteristics

• Rated Voltage : 0.6/1 kV.
• Test Voltage : 3.5 kV for 15 minutes.
• Resistance of the sheath to voltage surges : 1.2/50 µs with positive or negative polarity and a peak value of 20 kV.
