Nha Trang is a coastal resort city in southern Vietnam known for its beaches, diving sites and offshore islands. Its main beach is a long, curving stretch along Tran Phu Street backed by a promenade, hotels and seafood restaurants. Aerial cable cars cross over to Hòn Tre Island, and the nature reserves of Hòn Mun and Hòn Tằm islands, reachable by boat, have coral reefs. When is your trip?Start date–End datePlan trip

Located on the little hill. Surrounded by greenery with benches where you can relax. Beautiful view from the terace on the Nha Trang and sea. Definitely worth visiting. You can buy ticket on arrival 30000 v d.Jolanta J — Google reviewVery beautiful temple. Buddhist temple with Hindu elements. I liked that they didn’t painted and didn’t made fancy renovation. Looks very authentic and raw. A lot of space to set down, drink cool drinks, buy souvenirs. Recommend to walk around, had a small garden behind with beautiful trees and big rocks. There were dancers at the beginning who dance national dances with drums. Entrance fee 30.000 d. has a clean toilet near the temple. Beautiful view on the city. It was a bit busy with tourist groups, I was there around 10.40. Google maps says they open at 6, maybe it’s better to go as early as possible.Baktybala T — Google reviewI'm very grateful for visiting this amazing place... I felt like at home inside of the Temple... the presence of the Mother Goddess energy is strong... the history of this place is wonderful to know... I was with my guide and she told me a lot of interesting things about the place, a lot of gratitude too 🙏🏻 the tiket 🎟 is only 30 dongsDaria M — Google reviewWe visited Po Nagar Temple during our trip to Nha Trang, and it was a fascinating glimpse into Cham culture and history. The ancient towers are beautifully preserved, with intricate carvings and a serene atmosphere that makes you feel transported back in time. The views from the hilltop are stunning, overlooking the Cai River, and the short hike up adds a nice touch of adventure. Learning about the Hindu influences and the goddess Ponagar was enlightening—definitely worth the entrance fee. That said, it can get quite crowded with tour groups, especially in the mornings, which made it a bit noisy and hard to fully appreciate the tranquility. Some areas could use better signage in English for non-Vietnamese speakers, and the steps might be challenging for those with mobility issues. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in Vietnam's diverse heritage, but try to go early or late to avoid the crowds!Monica F — Google reviewThe temple is a beautiful building, surrounded by lush trees and blooming flowers. We loved the monuments and the spacious grounds. There's also a great selection of affordable souvenirs available. The entry ticket is very reasonable at 30,000 per person.Sufar — Google reviewWalk here today. Arrived just when all the tour groups came(enuff said). Spent half a day absorbing the whole sprintual aspect of the religious site and felt an inner calm considering I'm a non faith believer.(Sounds like a line out of a song) Worth the 30k vdn entrance for the visit to enlighten ones soul and for some great photos you can take with your selfie stick or tripod.( Best you take snaps on the stairs as people climb them it's more rewarding). Enjoy I did.Jimbo S — Google reviewLike most of temples... seen one, seen them all. The neon LED screws it up a bit though. Opposite is a circleK good to get an ice-cold Tiger, sit on the wall and watch the bridge. Kind of fun.Christoph S — Google reviewOne of the best looking and interesting places to visit in Nha Trang and I didn't see there so many Russians 😉🤣 Ticket costs 30k VND, you can visit wearing shorts, they will give you a long coat if you want to go inside the temple.Artur P — Google review3. Bãi biển Nha Trang4.5(1805)SaveBeachOutdoor ActivitiesWhite-sand beach with calm bay waters & views of a nearby town with mountains in the distance.Slide 1 of 8After a rainy and disappointing few days in Da Nang, arriving in Nha Trang was exactly what we needed. The beach here is stunning—long stretches of clean white sand, crystal clear water, and a beautifully maintained promenade lined with tall palm trees and sculpted gardens. There are grassy areas with shaded benches, making it easy to relax and take in the views. The beach was lively but not overcrowded, and the atmosphere felt safe and welcoming. We saw families, couples, and locals all enjoying the space. It’s the kind of place you could spend all day without realising. We’ll absolutely return the next time we’re in Vietnam.John W — Google reviewOne of the most developed and urbanized beaches I’ve been to! Despite being in a highly urbanized city, the beach is still beautiful and the sand looks great. I’ll definitely go back!MA R — Google reviewPut aside super clear sea water. For this, you need to be other part of the world. Basically, this beach is lively. Whether in the morning or before sun set. It is always full of activities. 50-50 local or foreigners.ZEB — Google reviewiconic landmark of that blue and white tower. beautiful beach. if you stay in havana hotel you have a tunnel to access the beach, saving the hassle of crossing a very busy road.Natalie — Google reviewNha Trang beach 🌊 is beautiful, free to swim 🏖️, and pleasantly uncrowded. Sitting on the sand at night ✨ to watch the sea is also a great experience.Hiếu T — Google reviewThe central beach in Nha Trang was honestly very disappointing. The beach itself is dirty, with a lot of trash around, and vendors constantly walking up trying to sell you things. The water was the worst part – out of 15 days, it was only clear twice (and even then, only “clear” by local standards). Most days the water was muddy, full of trash, and often covered with a strange brown-green foam. To me, it looked like waste or chemicals from ships passing by. After swimming, when I washed my swim shorts, the water turned dark green, and even the white pockets were stained. That says a lot about the water quality. This beach could be paradise if it were properly maintained – just cleaning the sand and stopping ships from dumping waste would make a huge difference. But right now, it’s not a place I’d recommend. If you want clean beaches, Da Nang is a much better option. I spent over 30 days there and the water was almost always clean (except for the occasional jellyfish, which were harmless). ⚠️ One note: most photos you’ll see online are from the rare days when the water is clear, so don’t be fooled.JOKER'S — Google reviewHad a blast sitting on a sand relaxing and eating Banh Mi, the waves were nice and cool breeze and warm sun.Elias — Google reviewIf you’re visiting the area, make sure to stop in front of K.Hoise restaurant where Lloyd manages the deck chairs. Lloyd is an absolute gentleman who genuinely cares—not just about his work, but about the dogs he rescues. He’s not looking for money, reviews, or attention. Instead, he quietly dedicates himself to rescuing lost, mistreated, or injured dogs. He works three jobs just to support his rescue efforts, rehabilitating these dogs and finding them loving homes when possible. If no one can take them, he keeps them himself. I only learned about his cause because he had a litter of puppies at the beach, and I asked him about them. If you happen to see Lloyd, please consider sparing some change. It’s not about charity for him—it’s about helping with a cause he deeply cares for, and every bit of support goes a long way. On a side note, Nha Trang itself is quite dirty and feels somewhat like a heavily tourist-focused spot, similar to Benidorm or Magaluf. It’s very crowded with Russian tourists, so much so that most signs and menus are in Russian.Sebastien S — Google review4. Hot mineral springs I-Resort Nha Trang4.4(12305)SaveWellness hotelNature & ParksSlide 1 of 8Absolutely outstanding experience at I-Resort Mud & Mineral Baths Our visit to I-Resort Mud & Mineral Baths was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, everything was beautifully organised, peaceful, and immaculately clean. The setting itself is stunning — lush, serene, and thoughtfully designed to feel like a true wellness retreat. The mud bath experience was incredibly relaxing and left our skin feeling wonderfully soft and rejuvenated. The mineral baths were equally impressive — perfectly warm, soothing, and clearly well maintained. Every area felt spacious and uncrowded, allowing us to fully unwind and enjoy the experience at our own pace. The Chocolate massage and foot massage were just amazing as was the light lunch we were served. Staff were warm, attentive, and professional throughout, always ready to assist while respecting our privacy. Facilities, including change rooms and amenities, were spotless and well-appointed, which added greatly to the overall comfort. This was a truly restorative experience and excellent value for money. I-Resort is a must-visit for anyone seeking relaxation, wellness, and a touch of luxury. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it to othersKarin C — Google reviewSo glad we came to I-resort. Everything was well organized. We were given freshly laundered towels and keys to lock our clothes in the cubbies provided in the washrooms. Then we were directed to the mud baths. The mud bath tubs were so clean with real muddy water used. This was a new and fun experience for us and we were so glad to enjoy the mud baths of Nha Trang which are known to be one of the world's top three locations. Our entrance ticket also included an herbal spring soak which was perfect after the mud bath. Lunch was also included afterwards. We left feeling rejuvenated.Kevin H — Google reviewWe visited Hot mineral springs @ I-Resort in Nha Trang as a group of six (four adults, two children). We booked spontaneously in the morning and reached the resort by taxi from the city center in about 30 minutes. The reception was friendly and professional. We booked a private mud bath for six people at 350,000 VND per person. However, while the correct total of 2.1 million VND was shown on the calculator, 3.5 million VND was entered on the credit card terminal and charged. After I pointed this out, the staff apologized and the issue was resolved. I recommend checking the charged amount carefully when paying by card. Apart from this, the experience was excellent. We received swimwear and towels and enjoyed a private hot mud bath together, which was a great and unique experience. Overall, a very nice resort that we can definitely recommend. Just be cautious during payment. We would gladly visit again.Jan E — Google reviewLoved it having a mud bath and several pools to swim and relax in. Many staff to help guide you around. Some of the pools are closed off but it's still a nice choice for using others.... V.i.P area for use too. Overall a lovely experience...well done 👍Mr K — Google reviewOur trip was a bit limited because my child got injured while playing. Also, since my kids are under 140cm, they weren't tall enough for most of the rides. The spa facilities seemed mostly geared toward adults, so there was only one spot we could enjoy with the children. The kids and I just got the spa passes, while my wife and mother-in-law tried the 'Spa House Package 1.' They absolutely loved it! My wife was very happy with the experience and the food was delicious, which made me satisfied as well. Despite a slight communication barrier, there is a nurse on-site at the amusement park for basic first aid, which was very helpfulAndy S — Google review4 stars feels very honest for this place. It’s a great place for families or couples willing to spend half to a full day here. Keep in mind that non-VIP services do not offer much privacy, and the location of treatment can be very different depending on where you’re escorted. For the experience it was fun, but if you’re looking to really relax and enjoy, opt for the VIP and book ahead.Hunter R — Google reviewWe had no regrets splurging on the VIP service at I-Resort. The 4 hours we spent there were activity-packed but timed so precisely by the concierge that it packed in host of experiences: breezy check-in, buggy service to a private bungalow with a private mud bath, mineral bath, lunch, a hot Himalayan salt sauna, and a 60-minute massage which was good - only negative is reception at the spa could be a more engaged . A cursory welcome and no water nor tea at the end of the massage . A stark contrast to the friendly and efficiency we got from our hostess for the day and the buggy drivers .Katherine W — Google reviewComing from someone who went to both Thap Ba Mud Spa, I would say that I-resort is a cleaner, slight more elevated experience but pretty much the same facilities (minus the water park) at more than 2 times the price (500k for mud spa + herbal spa + all the other facilities and a light refreshment.) I love how you can go there empty handed. There is free swimsuit, lockers and towels (first towel is free and you can get subsequent towels for 20k each). The swimsuit is a sleeveless non-padded unisex top and a fbt pants up to your knees. The towels there are dark blue which is good especially if you do not want to stain your own towels. Feels silly wrapping yourself in the towel and getting it all wet and dirty but not being able to get a new one when you shower unless you're willing to pay an additional 20k. As for facilities, it felt very organized with many staff showing you the way. We started with 1) changing into our swimsuit in cubicles, 2) storing our items inside a locker, 3) Mud Spa that is 38deg for 20min (there's a guy who would tell you to move on to the next station but they aren't too strict on the timing. the mud is diluted and incredibly smooth), 4) Herbal Bath for 20min (smells incredible but it was too hot and we got a bit dizzy after), 5) Waterfall in a mineral pool (kinda dirty with dead flies on the water surface but sitting under the waterfall was really intense and feels so good 6) Hydrotherapy (somewhat weak water jabbing on you while walking on stone ground), 7) Fountain (to play), 8) Jacuzzi (didn't like this because the water was shooting from below you and not behind you), 9) cold pool (skip it, it's not that cold and very underwhelming), 10) Swimming pool, 11) Waterpark (there's a buggy that brings you there but need to check timetable. there were a few slides with a crazy 90deg drop for the adrenaline rush, but other than that it was rather disappointing), 11) Light refreshments (either banh mi with eggs, prawn noodles, fruits), 12) Warm shower facilities (bring your own shampoo but they provide Hairdryer). Do note, there is cctv surveillance in the female locker rooms which is absurb if you think about it. The waterpark and restaurant is also located a distance away from the changing room and mud spas so do time your activity. For Thap Ba Mud Spa, it is very close to I-Resort. There is also no stipulated time on how long you can spend at each station. Shower facilities aren't in as good condition as I-Resort and they don't have temperature controlled mud baths, but it is half the price for pretty much the same thing. Areas for improvement would be to provide padded swimsuit because I felt very uncomfortable walking around with my nipples showing with many male staff. Would also be great if they could provide free towels, not be limited to one towel and sell on-site waterproof casing, one time use shampoo and slippers to walk around. All in all, it is still a very relaxing experience in Nha Trang and I would encourage you to spend at least 3h there when you're in the city! They have different packages and a private option too. Not difficult to get grab to and fro the place too.Reuz — Google review5. Long Son Pagoda4.3(14217)SaveBuddhist templeSights & LandmarksModern Buddhist pagoda featuring a large concrete Buddha statue atop a hill, offering city views.Slide 1 of 8Beautiful temple and Buddha on the top of the mountain. Meet to climb up a bit. Beautiful view from the top. On the way you can buy different souvenirs, cool drinks. I went around lunch time, not that busy. On the way back from the village.Baktybala T — Google reviewWe visited Long Son Pagoda on a weekend and were surprised to find it relatively quiet, which made the experience peaceful and enjoyable. The complex is beautifully maintained, with ornate temple architecture, bonsai-lined walkways, and a welcoming atmosphere. Be prepared for a bit of a climb — there are quite a few steps to reach the giant seated Buddha statue at the top, but it’s well worth the effort. The views over Nha Trang from up there are incredible, offering a panoramic perspective of the city skyline, mountains, and coast. About halfway up, you’ll find a serene reclining Buddha statue, carved into the hillside, surrounded by carved monk figures. It’s a calm spot to take a break before continuing making your way down. There is also a bell tower as well to see.John W — Google reviewThe giant Buddha was breathtaking. There’s also a reclining Buddha with carvings that were so intricate in detail. It was beautiful. There’s also a golden Buddha and a lovely garden. There was no cost to enter. Being that it is a temple, it is advised to dress respectfully.Tee — Google reviewIt’s beautiful 100 years old biggest Buddah statues in Vietnam, very well maintained over 100 years since. If you would like to donate, make few steps to right side where the big looked door with the slot open. The guide sign is faded, its barely noticeable how to make donations. The pagoda itself quite touristic and not much to see except these statuesJessica P — Google reviewBeautiful historic site with plenty of photo spots and ancient details to explore. Just keep in mind there is an entrance fee of 100kđ, but it’s still worth the visit if you enjoy culture and architecture a bitAsaf N — Google reviewLong Son Pagoda is one of the most impressive sights in Nha Trang and, in my view, an absolute must-see. The complex is well maintained and visually striking, with a peaceful atmosphere despite being close to the city. Climbing up to the large white Buddha is well worth the effort, as the views over Nha Trang are excellent and the setting feels calm and spiritual. The mix of architecture, statues, and greenery makes the visit both culturally interesting and relaxing. A highlight of the city and highly recommended.G W — Google reviewA temple located in the middle of Nha Trang city that cost 30k / person. The main attraction is the sleeping Buddha (low effort high reward because you just need to walk up one long flight of stairs) and the white Buddha (which you can see from the entrance but you have to walk 1-3 long fought of stairs). Nothing much to do up there but a good place to snap some pictures. We had fresh coconuts at the entrance. There are some shady uncles waiting to get tourists on the motorbikes to bring them up and down for 50k. Price is kinda steep and I think the steps are somewhat manageable. It's not a very big temple but I would pay it next time cause my upper thighs BURN and HURT for days to comeZu L — Google reviewThe entrance fee is free. It is a quiet and amazing place to visit. They also have a souvenir shop with affordable prices.Diana K — Google review6. Mountain Church4.1(2775)SaveCatholic churchSights & LandmarksNeo-Gothic church with an ornate bell tower, vaulted ceilings & colorful stained-glass windows.Slide 1 of 8The only downside to his revered and sacred site is the visiting hours, which can put foreign tourists in quite a pinch if they are late by even a trivial margin. Donation is possible via QR code at a fixed price of VND10,000, which is very agreeable. All in all, a very hallowed experience during my pilgrimage.Khôi ( — Google reviewWe visited Mountain Church, also known as the Nha Trang Cathedral, but unfortunately arrived outside of opening hours. The gates were closed, and access to the grounds is limited to certain times — mostly around mass. From the street, you can still see the beautiful clocktower and some of the façade, but much of the church is perched up higher on the hill and hidden behind the surrounding wall. Even so, it’s an impressive building with classic Gothic-style stone architecture that stands out from the modern city around it. If you want to go inside, here are the opening hours and mass times: Visiting Hours: • Morning: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM • Afternoon: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM • Sunday (special hours): 2:00 PM – 7:45 PM Mass Times: • Sunday: • 5:00 AM • 7:00 AM • 9:30 AM • 4:30 PM • 6:30 PM • Weekdays: • 4:45 AM • 5:00 PMJohn W — Google reviewA stunning example of Neo-Gothic architecture in the heart of Nha Trang. The church’s ornate bell tower, high vaulted ceilings, and vibrant stained-glass windows create a peaceful and inspiring atmosphere. Built on a small hill, it offers a lovely panoramic view of the city. Whether you come for quiet reflection, photography, or to admire the historic design, Mountain Church is well worth a visit.Julia K — Google reviewVisiting Mountain Church in the late afternoon felt both peaceful and deeply meaningful. Located right in the center of Nha Trang at 01 Thai Nguyen Street, the church rises quietly above the city, with its stone architecture catching the soft fading light of the day. Even before stepping inside, the atmosphere carried a sense of calm that made the entire visit feel unhurried and reflective. I arrived just before the evening mass, which added a special layer to the experience. As I walked through the grounds and approached the cemetery area beside the church, everything slowed down. The silence around the resting places, the gentle breeze, and the echo of distant church bells made the moment especially emotional as I visited the grave of a loved one. It’s a space where memories feel closer, and where the peaceful surroundings give comfort without saying a word. Inside the main hall, the church was serene. Soft lights illuminated the stone walls, stained glass windows glowed gently, and the sacred statues created a sense of reverence. Whether you come to pray, reflect, or simply appreciate the beauty of heritage architecture, Mountain Church offers an atmosphere that is both spiritual and grounding. My visit in the late afternoon became a quiet but unforgettable reminder of gratitude, family, and peace.John Đ — Google reviewChurch is okay. But at the entrance they force you to leave 10.000 in a box that should be donation. I left 2000 because I didn’t have other small pieces and the look at the me badly. Like in all temples in Thailand and Vietnam they make it a really freely action, so why would you oblige someone, it is not a ticket 🤷♀️Sara G — Google reviewWe visited Nha Trang Cathedral, also known as the Mountain Church, and although it was closed at the time, it was still well worth the stop. Set on a small hill above the city, the church’s stone Gothic-style exterior is striking and quite different from the surrounding urban landscape. The elevated position offers a pleasant sense of calm and some nice views over the nearby streets. Even from the outside, the architecture, solid stonework, and quiet atmosphere make it an interesting and photogenic landmark. A short visit is enough to appreciate its character, and it’s easy to see why it’s considered one of Nha Trang’s notable sights.G W — Google reviewEntry by donation, there was no pressure as to how much, in my case I just popped 30,000VND in the box, come on guys everything needs to be maintained and cleaned dont shy away from a small donation. I was there just as the bells tolled 10.00am, lovely tone, pleasure to the ears, lovely cool shaded areas to sit and reflect, the Church was open for visitors to simply reflect or say a prayer. Stunning leadlight windows depicting Biblical scenes. Overall a pleasant way to spend an hour.Derek C — Google reviewIt was closed when I visited but the outside grounds were still very nice. Little difficult to figure out where the entrance is and when they’re open, I didn’t see any signage. I’ll go back again after a little more investigation.Michael — Google reviewYour itinerary and your map in one view
