Every time I see this map get updated, I can’t help but pause for a moment. It represents far more than dots on a page. It’s a reflection of where we started and how much has evolved over the past four plus years. As we were working to get this latest update pulled together ahead of TechAdvantage this year, it gave me a chance to step back and really appreciate that progress. What began as a focused effort around smart grid technology planning has grown into a broader Smart Grid Advisory practice, shaped directly by cooperative needs and real world challenges. Along the way, we’ve expanded well beyond traditional planning to include targeted evaluation and planning services, helping cooperatives take a deeper, more practical look at areas like DERs, reliability, AMI, communications, and grid modernization, and move forward with clarity and confidence. This evolution didn’t happen overnight, and it certainly didn’t happen alone. It’s been made possible by cooperatives across the country who trusted us to support their decision making, and by an incredibly skilled and talented team that continues to push our work forward. Bringing on people who are deeply technical, thoughtful, and relentlessly focused on delivering real value to the members we serve has been the most rewarding part of this journey. Seeing this footprint grow, new cooperatives, new regions, new challenges, reminds me why we do this work and makes me genuinely excited about what’s next. We’ll keep refining, expanding, and improving how we support cooperatives through evaluation, planning, and advisory services that meet them where they are. Grateful for the trust, proud of the team, and energized for continued development and service!
