More than 1.2 million small-bore nasal feeding tubes are placed annually within the United States1. Two of the most common issues with nasal tubes are accidental dislodgement and occlusion. AMT addresses both issues to improve patient outcomes!

The AMT Bridle™ Family is designed to reduce the occurrence of accidental tube dislodgement, avoid skin breakdown, and lead to cost savings; the NutraGlide® is designed to reduce tube clogging through its unique reverse taper tube with inner and outer diameters that increase from the proximal to distal ends of the tube.

NutraGlide® features a unique increasing internal diameter and open distal tip, which is designed to reduce clogging.

Decrease Replacement Tubes

When compared to the NutraGlide®, a straight tube is more than twice as difficult to expel a clog formation.2

Improve Comfort

Smaller proximal diameter of the nasal tube within the nasal passage, “may improve patient comfort and likely decrease the incidence of sinusitis.”2

The NutraGlide® Nasal Feeding Tube is indicated for the administration of nutrition, medication, and fluids in neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.

NutraGlide® is Designed to Reduce Clogging

The inner and outer diameters of the NutraGlide® Nasal Feeding Tube gradually increase from the proximal entry port to the distal tip, which allows for improved flow and reduces the risk of clog formation. The reverse taper tube design also makes it easier to remove a clog, if one should form.2 The 5F NutraGlide® transitions from 5F at the proximal entry port to 6F at the distal tip; similarly, the 6F transitions from 6F to 8F, the 8F transitions to 10F, and the 10F NutraGlide® transitions to 12F.

Ready Glide™ Technology

All sizes feature AMT’s proprietary Ready Glide™ coating, which eliminates the need for water activation, and is intended to provide an easier placement and removal of the stylet.
