R 22 MAR 19 ALCGOFF 032/19 SUBJ: OFF-SEASON CAPT SOLICITATION FOR COMMANDANT (CG-09E) 1. An off-season CAPT assignment opportunity exists for a Captain or Captain (select) to serve as VICE COMMANDANT EA (CG-09E). The position number is 00030059. The anticipated report date is 01 July 2019. 2. Interested officers should apply via Direct Access by COB 29 Mar 2019. Requests for consideration must include a command endorsement (via email) from the first flag in the applicant’s chain of command addressing backfill requirements and the acceptability of a potential gap. In addition, members in receipt of AY19 PCS orders must include a command endorsement (via e-mail) from the first flag in the chain of command addressing backfill requirements and the acceptability of a potential gap for the billet to which ordered into. 3.
