Examples: - USA ---- the PUA model is marketed through the normal retail outlets (Best Buy, Fry's, Amazon, etc.); ---- the AUA is marketed through wholesale outlets or warehouse clubs such as Costco, Sam's Club or BJ's Wholesale Club or other warehouses; ---- the AUB has a different stand; The PUA models are WiSA Ready devices, those models have the required software to let you control a WiSA set of speakers, but they do not have a WiSA transmitter built-in. WiSA Ready products require the purchase of an external USB WiSA transmitter. As for the AUA models, they do not have the required WiSA software installed and even with a dongle attached cannot connect or control WiSA compatible speaker systems. See the attached pictures of Sound Out menu for AUA and PUA models where the differences appear. The PUA model has the side USB1 port marked blue as if it is a USB 3.0 port (SuperSpeed), the USB2 and USB3 are marked with white or black, as USB 2.0 ports (High Speed) - see the attached C9 Service Manual Block Diagram (the USB1 socket is not labeled as 3.0 in the diagram..., but as 2.0 just like the rest of the ports..., so we cannot be sure if it is a 3.0 port); The AUA model does not have any blue marked USB ports, only white or black USB 2.0 ports (High Speed); LG assembly factories around the world: - Mexic - Poland/EU - two factories in the Mlawa city (Mlawa-LG Town) - China - South Korea - two factories - Indonesia - Russia 2,461 - 2,480 of 3,086 Posts 1 124 of 155

I just downloaded 05.25.07 from there and put it on a USB stick. Went upstairs for 15 minutes to do a few things. Came back down, powered on the TV with USB stick still sitting on the table. Guess what prompt popped up on the TV screen. A

Is anybody familiar whether Australian (PTA) models are able to install this US based image? If not, which region(s) firmware IS compattible with the AU PTA models? Thanks 9

You need the DVB variant of the firmware update, i.e. no you can’t use the firmware file from the U.S. website. But you can simply download v05.20.07 from the official LG AU support website. A

Cool thanks mate. Already have v05.20.07, however was just interested in grabbing the latest firmware instead of waiting. Often Australia is one of the regions that has to wait longer for the new firmware to become available both via the LG Support site & OTA. C

Seems to be fine for me Sent from my Pixel 6 Pro using Tapatalk

Uninstall and reinstalling the app didn't fix it. Neither did signing in and out of YouTube on the TV. What am I supposed to do now?

They error out and display a connection problem. Edit A hard reset of the tv leaving it disconnected from power for several minutes seems to have fixed the issue. K

I have always had this problem for many firmware incarnations but with regard to freeview/freesat not being remembered. For the life of me I don't understand why this can't be just a button on the remote that switches between the two like my old Panasonic instead to having to navigate relatively deeply into the menus to switch between the two.

Lammiwinks said: Sorry for my ignorance - but how do you turn these on? Are these the 'artwork' type pictures that show up when switching inputs? Because these do show when swapping frame rates on Apple TV! Click to expand...
That is exactly what I noticed. During the frame rate switch I get a black screen and then the gallery picture shows up for just a short moment. This is even more annoying than the No signal screen because of the brightness change. I'm going from an Apple TV 4K into my Denon X3700 and into the C9 so there might be an added delay from the AVR. I believe the option to turn it off is in the general settings.

But if I understand this correctly the change was never meant to hide the no signal screen itself but to hide the no signal box when the gallery images are turned on. So it works as designed but it's not what we wished for. D

It's precisely what hundreds and hundreds of C8 users on that thread wished for. They wanted to have a No signal screen which consisted of the gallery images without any text on. Their mentality is detailed in my post above ;) I think what you seem to want is a total pitch black "no signal" screen with neither images nor text? You'll have to start a brand new campaign for that if so; I've never seen anyone asking for it until the other day. But really, I think you're only seeking a work-around for a core HDMI problem: a HDMI hand-shake takes a few agonising seconds, which can never be speeded up, during which time, the TV will display the "No Signal" screen. 9

v05.20.07 is currently the latest firmware version for DVB models. See my previous posts about v05.20.07 vs v05.25.07.

Yes, it does happen from time to time that some regions have a significant delay. In your case, you can always check LG's U.K. support site, for example - or of course any other LG E.U. support site. B
