Solid, fast, accurate
Bot this new to update&upgrade my still functioning, but very old SONY... At a super-bargain, bulk-packaging price. Instructions are clear. Measured progress and status is visible from across the room. Great feature. Already have used it on multi brands of AA's, mostly 2300 mAh, but also lesser AND on 400 and 600 rated SOLAR rechargeable batteries. I have come to use mostly newish Energizer rechargeables for bluetooth keyboard & mouse, and in a Garmin Golf course GPS. The charge on the golf GPS AA's lasts only about 2.5 to 3 rounds, so rechargeables and a quality charger like this save meaningful $. I continue to recharge some many years old SONY and SANYO batteries that still function. I have come to use those in lower-usage items like remote thermometers and clocks.

Great charger!
This unit is way more high tech than it looks. Batteries look like they're being as a group....they are not. Each battery is assessed individually and charged as needed. Volt meter shows even and strong charge when done. Just pop in the charger and let the unit do it's job.

Panasonic Eneloop Smart Battery Charger BQ CC55
This charger works well and I wanted it because its 3 hour charges time is much quicker than the8 hour charge time of the basic model Panasonic Eneloop BQ CC 17. Both are good chargers, but sometimes an 8 hour wait is inconvenient The BQ CC55 takes care of that issue and its well made.

Panasonic Eneloop 3 hr. charger
If you use Eneloop batteries (I have a couple dozen of 'em), this is the unit that charges them to OEM specifications. That makes the battery life longer. It also indicates the charge in the battery as it charges.
