Major Differences on the G7

As mentioned in the video above, the G7 and GH4 are very similar but you will obviously be missing a few features on the G7 when it comes to video.

The Bad

  • No Cinema 4K (4096×2160)
  • No headphone output
  • No 96FPS
  • Can’t use monitor while recording (29mins max)
  • No continuous recording
  • SD card accessed under camera
  • Shorter battery life
  • Lower build quality body

The Good

  • Crazy affordable
  • Better low light at higher ISO levels
  • Almost identical video quality to the GH4
  • 60FPS at 1080p
  • Good button layout
  • Includes a lens
  • 4K video for under $800
