deereman84 D I want to upgrade my basic Passat stereo with something that will keep all of the steering wheel functions and hands free phone capabilities. My car has the base head unit and my steering wheel only has the buttons on the left side. Is there a factory radio that would work? I’m really just looking for a good receiver that will work well with my iPhone so I can control it on the radio’s screen for making calls and using Pandora. It's that weird thing where they keep making last generation models for certain markets, like China. I lost the backup camera but that's not much of a loss really

I have a desay unit and it did not play nice with the Fender audio. No fader, sound was over-amplified, etc. And you lose nav/audio display in the MFD. I ended up putting the stock one back in. Thank you 0 Reply #10 · May 23, 2020 I also have an Alpine ilx-w650 that has all the features that I bought for $300. I can't seem to find the part to integrate the camera anywhere online. Crutchfield lists the installation gear at about $137 but they don't have the camera adapter. The Alpine is a nice HU and hard to beat at that price, plus it's easy to add an Alpine miniamp behind the HU in the dash. I can't decide if I want to keep the rcd 330 or switch to the Alpine. My subwoofer may not be working with the new Desay HU but should be working with the Alpine.
