Pch temperature Anjani By Anjani April 4, 2022 in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory Share https://linustechtips.com/topic/1422679-pch-temperature/
 Followers 1 Go to solution Solved by Somerandomtechyboi, April 4, 2022

I dont think pch temp matters much anymore since cpu already has most things integrated while the pch handles the chipset lanes and i/o

If you were talking fsb/bclk oc platforms then yea pch temp would matter since that does affect fsb/bclk ocability but that was over a decade ago

What should be the pch temperature of chipset be.. I have msi b560m bazooka and its pch temp reaches up to 70C under heavy load, gaming and cpu stress test.. What should be the upper limit of pch temperature

I think Tjmax for that is 95C. It's a piece of silicon just like your CPU, if not a simpler design. No reason to have a lower temperature limit than your CPU.
