Phibun is a Thai Sergeant that can be purchased with 190 medals.

Description[]

In early game standards, it is a rather a poor commander. With only a level 1 Economic Expert and a level 2 jungle fighting, it's viability is limited to forested areas. Couple with the fact that it only has one star each on Infantry, Artillery and Navy, it makes it questionable whether this commander be used over the generic commander outside of jungle terrains.

In terms of medal investment, it is the second cheapest commander in the game. However he is outclassed by commander Inoue (with 190 medals) in terms of navy, Budyonny (with 180 medals) in terms of infantry and Camacho (with 200 medals) in terms of everything except jungle fighting and mobility.

History[]

Field Marshal Plaek Phibunsongkhram alternatively transcribed as Pibulsongkram or Pibulsonggram, locally known as Chomphon Por, contemporarily known as Phibun in the West, was the longest serving 3rd Prime Minister of Thailand and fascist leader of Thailand from 1938 to 1944 and 1948 to 1957.
