Phuong C. Huynh, DDS - Mission Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Dr. Phuong C. Huynh has extensive training in the diagnosis and management of disorders of the oral and maxillofacial region. He is qualified to perform the procedures in the scope of oral surgery, including dental implants, wisdom teeth extractions and corrective jaw surgery.

Dr. Huynh graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a B.S. in Biology and later earned his D.D.S. degree from the University of Southern California.

His postgraduate training includes a surgical residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Huynh received formal training in anesthesia and sedation and is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

From 2001-2004, Dr. Huynh served on active duty in the U.S. Army as a Major and an oral surgeon at the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, CA. During this time, he also acquired private practice experience in Apple Valley and Victorville, CA. In 2003, Dr. Huynh served overseas with the 1888th Head & Neck Surgical Team in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Dr. Huynh is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (CALAOMS), American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), Tri-County Dental Society (TCDS), and Southern California Orofacial Academy (SCOA). He regularly attends conferences and seminars to keep abreast of industry developments and advancements.

Dr. Huynh resides in Riverside with his two sons. He enjoys woodworking and spending time with his family and friends.
