Error description

• Description of problem 2(HI Segment): When you pass data from cadr1 to card2, the data in HI segment (HI02) is being stripped off in the final output file. Before Translation: HI*BK:1716**BN:E9331 After Translation HI*BK:1716*BN:E9331 This happens using WSTX PK HIPPA: HIPAA type trees and maps, Compliance Check, Compliance Check map and Health Care Pack 4.1

Local fix

• WTXCQ - WTX00001491 RN / RN Circumvention: None

Problem summary

• The fix for Defect 699 causes the work file for the first output to be a better description of that output than we had without that fix. We were getting a different second output because of the inaccurate description of the first output in the output work file. The new second output is correct; it differs from the first output because the maps used to create it are different.

Problem conclusion

• I made a change to the map so we'd build the second output based on the input, rather than the first output, we now get the same result mapping from the earlier output that we got if we mapped from the input. The new behavior isn't a bug: The fix for 699 makes the output work file a better description of the data than it had been, and with this better description, we build the output differently.
