Golombick G Hi All. So I just got my new V40 T4 2019 Geartronic after upgrading from a 2015 V40 T4 with Polestar and Powershift gearbox model. Well first I must say I am very pleased with the new Geartronic gearbox as it feels more responsive with less lag when shifting so naturally I was super excited to get the Polestar fitted as I could feel the new V40 lacks the performance of my previous T4 with Polestar. So after going to my local Volvo dealership here in South Africa I found out that Polestar has not developed the upgrade for the new V40s and almost had a heart attack. Please can anyone confirm this for me? I have been on the Polestar website but don't see it listed. Please say it ain't so!!! If no longer available whom else can assis with a better or equivalent upgrade that would enhance both performance and gearbox. Thanks all #1 · Oct 20, 2019 Hi All. All tuners I have contacted in Belgium are able to tune the engine but not the geartronic. However I am happy with the result: 217 HP and 374 Nm. Not a huge difference, but this was the best he could do in combination with the 6-speed geartronic. Measured before the tuning: 183 HP and 317 Nm. #4 · Oct 25, 2019 Be carefull, the T4 Polestar link from HPsauce is for the 1.6 Ford engine, not the 2.0 Volvo engine. Insert Quotes Post Reply
