Xin Zhao Tips and Tricks

• Xin Zhao is incredible with a lot of cooldown reduction as Wind Becomes Lightning and Audacious Charge allow him to continuously gap close the enemy and not let them run away.
• Hitting a target with Wind Becomes Lightning marks them, granting Xin Zhao vision over them and increasing the range of Audacious Charge significantly. Use this to quickly traverse between jungle camps. It can also be used to gain vision over Baron, Dragon and Herald, as well as jump onto them over walls for a quick steal.
• Crescent Guard allows Xin Zhao to completely negate projectile damage for him and any of his allies found within its area of effect.
• The most popular Xin Zhao combo goes as follows: Wind Becomes Lightning— it is crucial that you hit the enemy with it, Audacious Charge, Three Talon Strike and keep auto attacking until the enemy is knocked up & follow it up with the same rotation.

Xin Zhao Jungle Pathing Guide

Jungle Pathing represents the choices jungle players make in regards to when and where to gank, invade or just path towards. It includes how camps and buffs are cleared between ganks, anticipating counterganks, and spotting opportunities for invading. Effective pathing requires deep understanding of your champion's abilities, their interactions, and how both team compositions play into those choices.

Full clear with a Blue Buff start

The recommended jungle path for Xin Zhao is a full clear starting at Blue Buff with Audacious Charge. At level two, unlock Wind Becomes Lightning and kill the Gromp as well as the Murk Wolves. Reach level three to unlock Three Talon Strike, then path to Raptors, Red Buff, and Krugs; killing them in this particular order. At level four upgrade Wind Becomes Lightning. Finish the route with Rift Scuttler, then look for gank opportunities or contest the enemy jungle.

An alternative start is leashless Raptors → Red Brambleback → Krugs → early gank on bot/top lane, potentially trading some jungle camps for early map pressure.

Xin Zhao excels at early duels and ganks since all his three skills offer incredible fighting power. Prioritize lanes where the enemy is overextended or low on health to maximize his level three power spike.
