Problems with DP and G-Sync on a AOC C27G1G4 (FreeSync) Monitor

Hello Community,

if i enable G-Sync for my Monitor (and the FreeSync is enabled on my monitor) i get a black screen from my monitor (not pc) this the error: "Input Not Support" and then i have to switch to HDMI turn FreeSync on my monitor of so i can use DP again and then the option for G-SYNC is still avail and i can deactivate it for my Monitor output again. Where is the problem?

- I have a GTX 1050 Ti due to 30 series basicly not avail....

- Newest NVIDIA Drivers thought Geforce Experience: 497.09

- And i a DisplayPort cable to my AOC C27G1

Not all monitors support freesync over displayport. Unfortunately for the monitors that only support freesync over HDMI they end up unable to run freesync off of Nvidia gpus as Nvidia gpus exclusively support freesync over displayport.

Ok so my AOC C27G1 is one of them who only support FreeSync over hdmi?

Honestly I tried to look it up and there was no clear answer so . Make sure you are checking the gsync compatible option on and not simply gsync.

Yea that's the problem if i turn the second checkbox on then the problem start if only the G-Sync compatible is on there's no problem.

Freesync is just gsync compatible. You could probably look up videos how to get gsync compatible to work as honestly I am just going off of memory of what you are supposed to do based on when it first came out. I don't own any Freesync monitors so I have never needed to use gsync compatible.
