I am having trouble with my Vita. I downloaded an update for Shinobido 2 and when I clicked on it to install it, it gets to about 26% and gives me an error code saying: "Shinobido 2: Revenge of Zen Coul not install. (C0-8976-0)" I downloaded the patch 4 times and all four times it gives me this same error code. And what's more, when I click the ... to cancel the install for each instances of the "patch" I click cancel and nothing happens. They will not cancel. What's even more, I click on the ... at the bottom right of the vita and click "Delete All" and, wouldn't you know it, nothing clears and nothing deletes! Can anyone help me out here? I have four instances of this infernal patch and they will not go away or cancel and Shinobido 2 will not update. I have even deleted the game, reinstalled it, downloaded the patch again and STILL it will not update, cancel, or clear.

This will help you, I would imagine. [Note: this will reset your icon placement, and backgrounds; but NOT your data.] 1. Turn the Vita Off (Not in Standby) 2. Hold the "R" shoulder button + Playstation Button + Power 3. When the Safe Mode menu comes up, select Rebuild 4. Restart your Vita.

I was going to suggest deleting the game and reinstalling, until I got to the last sentence of your post. I have never come cross an issue like this personally so I will be no help but I hope someone will come and right your wrong soon. Sorry. D

Thank you. I think I did something a little more drastic though. I took the memory card out while the vita was on and when it restarted i put it back in and restarted again and now the notifications are gone. I will not be updating shinobido 2 since the patch is defective. Thank you so much for the help.

Honestly; I would rebuild using my method, then just download the patch and actually let it complete. It should work. D

I have downloaded it 4 times and each time it didn't install. Don't really want to try again. Never really liked the game anyways. Probably will get rid of it. You must log in or register to reply here.
