Apply now Master Dutch / English NL / EN 1 year Full-time What influence does the brain have on our behaviour? How do upbringing and environmental factors affect our mental health? How are common disorders such as anxiety and depression treated? During the Master's programme in Psychology, you will study questions such as these.

The four tracks within the Master's programme in Psychology:

Work and Organisational Psychology (English)

Focuses on the well-being and effectiveness of employees in organisations. You will study leadership, motivation, personality in the workplace, and team dynamics.

Clinical Psychology (Dutch)

Focuses on adults with mental health issues. You will delve into diagnostics, treatment, and interventions. You will develop the clinical skills needed to work in adult mental health care.

Clinical Developmental Psychology (Dutch)

Focuses on children and young people, and the system in which they grow up, such as family and school. The programme covers development, upbringing, psychopathology, diagnostics, and treatment.

Clinical Neuropsychology (Dutch)

Emphasises the relationship between the brain and behaviour. You will examine cognitive functions, disorders caused by brain damage or developmental problems, and learn to diagnose and treat patients within neuropsychological practice.

Discover your Psychology study programme

From early childhood to adulthood, genes, the brain, upbringing, life events and environmental factors influence our thoughts, feelings and behaviour. How do mental disorders develop and how can they be treated? How do you determine a person's intelligence and diagnose a disorder? What causes stress in the workplace? How do you approach research in this field?

Do these questions make you curious? Then the Master's programme in Psychology is the right choice for you.

Each track of the Master's programme in Psychology lasts one year and consists of lectures and seminars. The Master's tracks in Psychology are small-scale, intensive and well-organised. You will follow interactive courses in small work groups, and there will be a constant link between theory and practice.
