What is Pearson PTE Academic?

PTE Academic is an online test that checks how well you handle English. Its format has four main components which are PTE reading, PTE listening, PTE writing, and PTE speaking. Schools and governments around the world trust this test. It's important for getting into schools & universities in different countries and for moving or working in places like Australia, the UK, and New Zealand.

Is PTE the same as IELTS and TOEFL?

No, PTE is not the same as IELTS and TOEFL. While all three are English language proficiency tests used by academic institutions and for visa applications, they differ in format, scoring, and sometimes in acceptance, with each having its unique aspects. How do they score my PTE Academic test?

Your PTE scores are given by computers using special programs. These programs were made by looking at tests from more than 10,000 people who speak over 120 languages.
