You have to go here. We spent three weeks travelling Vietnam and this was one of our best meals. Great food and a wonderful experience. Despite this having a wonderful reputation it hasn't become too touristy and the price has remained great value. It is a must in Hanoi

Best place to get the typical grilled BBQ Pho in Vietnam. Exceptional. No menu. You get one dish and the best dish that hasn't changed in all its time open. Very reasonable price and outstanding service!

This little hole in the wall has the best Bun Cha in Hanoi! Our guide recommended it to us and we are so glad he did!! They don’t have a menu, you just order how many you want and then add all the noodles, greens, garlic and chilis that you want!! Highly recommend!!

One of the best for Bun Cha in Hanoi!Located down an alleyway (but easily found via the red banner at the entrance), you will pass the staff frantically at work just trying to keep up with the orders.We found the last seats (literally!) and awaited our order of Bun Cha with barbecued pork and fermented rice noodle. It was without a doubt worth the wait! Like most places in Vietnam, if you specialise in one dish then just make that, and this restaurant is making some of the best Bun Cha around!Additionally the staff were super friendly here (even though we had arrived just prior to closing).Would wholeheartedly recommend!Note: This was the sixth of six stops on Minh’s Unique Street Food Adventure. Bún Chả Hàng Quạt is a hidden gem in Hanoi. They have the best Bun Cha I have eaten in Hanoi. They are open only from 10:00 till 14:00 (10am till 2pm). The meat has an amazing grilled flavour and Bun Cha is delicious thanks to that. I eat Bun Cha there every time I visit Hanoi. I am looking forward to eating there again 😋😋😋

The bun cha was one of the best I tried in Hanoi. It was packed with Vietnamese patrons which was a good sign for me that it was good. Generous portions for a very affordable price.Be ready to rub elbows with your next table patrons, the place is cramped, but that's part of the excitement. This hole in the wall is a bit hard to find, so if you have to walk through a narrow alleyway, don't worry, you are in the right place. Just be careful with the price when you have to pay, I was charged double than the locals, unfortunately.Enjoy your bun cha!

This might be our favourite meal in Vietnam as of yet - definitely our best bún cha. I'm sure if your Vietnamese is good enough you could order something specific but take a seat and they'll deliver a wonderful bowl of bbq pork in a delicious broth, all the fresh greens, two spring rolls and a chunk of rice vermicelli noodles. Enjoy.

Eating Bun Cha sitting on wooden sofa and on a piano 🎹 chair 🤔 Really authentic experience! The Bun Cha is absolutely delicious 😋 char grill pork pieces and pork balls. The spring rolls were divine. Very short opening hours so check it first before coming.I had the vietnamese drink and it's sour plum drink. Absolutely refreshing and delicious 🤤

This is for sure the best Bún Cha in Hanoi and probably also the best restaurant in Hanoi. Great value, good atmosphere hidden from the busy streets, friendly people and great tasting food.

I've never had Bun Cha like this! Very delicious and amazing dish. After you go through the amazing "alley kitchen", you'll see a small courtyard with small chairs and tables. It feels like a genuine local experience. Grilled meat in Vietnamese fish sauce "Nước Chấm" with vermicelli noodles, spring rolls and fresh greens. Herbs, garlic and chili for topping. Quite big portions and very busy most of the times. I recommend to come with a empty stomach and a big appetite. A must try for foodies!

A local friend recommended this place and I was so impressed by their food. Tucked in at tiny alley, with plastic tablets and chairs this restaurant caters mostly to Vietnamese. Fresh, authentic food at great prices. Clear meat broth, fresh rice noodles combined with grilled bacon, pork meatballs, lettuce, herbs, chilies and garlic. This without a doubts was the Best Bun Chà I had in Hanoi.

Our local food tour guide suggested to come to this place to try the bun cha that is one of the best in Hanoi! In bun cha the meat must have a taste of charcoal grilling and also be sweet. The bun cha here was incredible! We also had a drink from the local store that we really loved!Attention this place is really local and this means that you won’t get a 5 star hotel treatment or sit in silk chairs. We loved it but it’s up to you!

This is one of my fav meals during Vietnam trip, Bun Cha. The taste more like pickle soup than the normal soup like pho. But it taste very fresh and unique, combination of sweet, sour, salty and fresh. The grilled pork belly meat was taste so good, perfect grilled with charcoal. Also inside of the bowl of buncha, it have meatballs, young papaya and carrots, taste crunchy.The spring rolls was soooo good here, big size, with plenty meat, veggies, mushroom inside. It is really worth for the price.So i order 1 set of buncha, 2 spring rolls and ice tea. Cost me 80k VND, it is value with the food delicious and experience.If you a really "hygiene" person, bring your own wet wipes, and try to look only straight to your food , no need to look around or have many thoughts about the leftover or whatever they usually do for. Enjoy the food and feel happy with the rich taste.

The best Bun Cha in Hanoi! The most refreshing experience to eat in an alley! Food is great for sure!!Do give it a shot it’s definitely worth the experience! A little difficult to navigate but there will be people who will spot you looking out for BUN CHA 🤓
