Jan 17, 2020 107 18 4,615 I have now the AOC C24g1 23.5" 1080p 144hz and 1ms(some say its realy 4-5ms) witch i bought for 190 and now i am looking at Samsung C27jg50 and jg56 1440p 145hz for 290 and 340. I can get 100 for the AOC. But my question is it worth the upgrade? I dont feel that the 24" is to small but i wouldent mind 27" Sort by date Sort by votes punkncat

Ambassador Apr 3, 2018 12,250 3,317 62,890 Two of my last three monitor purchases were AOC. For the price I think they are super hard to beat. My latest purchase was a Samsung and it's been superb over several years of use, so far. The brightness of the Samsung and it's color reproduction have been much better but it well may be an unfair comparison to make for the price points. It's not that that Samsung was super high end, per se, but I caught it on a good sale where the AOC were purchased as value products. When I originally moved from a 24 to a 27 it seemed really large for use on a desktop. I have gotten far more used to it and couldn't imagine going back now, just for the desktop real estate alone. My wife uses a 32 and it seems gigantic to me. She likes it. Upvote 0 Downvote KawaTom

Jan 17, 2020 107 18 4,615 I am only upgrading if i find a 27" with 1440p 144hz. I am happy with my AOC 24" 1080p 144hz but i just fancy a litle bigger and 1440p. The AOC 27" 1440p is about 430 now so 100 more then the Samsung 27". The price i uses is just a dumb down example of my currency so its easyer for those who uses $,£,€ to get the picture of the price diffrence. Cant find many reveiws on the Samsung C27JG50 or 56 but i understand that the 50 is without freesync and 56 is with. Not sure how important freesync is for my RTX2070 super. I think the 32" will be to bigg for me to game on since im about 50-60cm from the screen, more difficult to spot movements on the sides? Upvote 0 Downvote KawaTom

Jan 17, 2020 107 18 4,615 So i have tryed it over the weekend now and im not sure what i have done or if i have just gotten used to it. But now i am actually liking it. I went back to the AOC and played 1 hour or so then switched back to the Samsung messed with the settings again and voila:unsure: The freesync seems to work with the G-sync. PUBG with 1440p 144hz all settings on high i run about 125FPS on average i think. Ultra it drops down under 100FPS. So i am probebly keeping this one, but the store has a 50 days buy back if for what ever reason you are not pleased with it so i am not throwing the box just yet Upvote 0 Downvote You must log in or register to reply here.
