Aug 21, 2020 17 0 510 Guys luckily just bought a 3070 ti. So i was wondering will my 10400 bottleneck it or not. I dont have the GPU on hand thats why i am asking. I mainly play 4k60. Sort by date Sort by votes R

Jun 8, 2020 1,483 446 12,890 A modern 6 core /12 thread CPU like that should run 95% of games out there with no issue at 4K 60 fps. It's usually lower resolutions (with the resultant higher fps) that cause CPU bottlenecks. Unless you play an incredibly CPU-heavy game or start gaming at higher fps (100+) you will be unlikely to run into any significant issues. Just for fun, what are the full specifications of the rest of your PC? Upvote 0 Downvote Z

Is your RAM made up of two 8 GB sticks of RAM or a single 16 GB stick of RAM? What storage or SSDs are you using? Upvote 0 Downvote L

Your H460 motherboard means that you are limited to locked 10th gen Intel CPUs, but you should be fine. I don't see anything concerning about your hardware Upvote 0 Downvote Z
