The Remington R4 is an M4 carbine designed and manufactured by Remington Arms. It is one of many AR-15 type rifles which uses a gas piston operating system in an attempt to improve the reliability of the weapon.

The R4-C is an assault rifle featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. It is available for use by Ash and Ram.

Overview[]

The R4-C is a fast firing assault rifle designed for close-to-mid range engagements, contrary to the quote above. Its high damage and high rate of fire make it highly lethal in close to medium range engagements. However, despite the weapon's superior damage dropoff that grants a fast TTK at all ranges, its high recoil and the lack of a magnifying scope can make long-range engagements somewhat difficult.
