I would add that most of the time when you see "24/7" in an English text, it is not a fraction but a short form of the expression "24 hours a day, 7 days a week." That "24/7" is pronounced "twenty-four, seven." Broca

I agree with the above posters; "four sevenths" is correct. Sometimes people instead say: "Four over seven" G
