Removing lower grille

Can anyone give me a pointer on how to remove the lower grille on my car? Hit a fox the other day which has smashed it up.. It's the black bit in the picture attached which I'm referring to... Cheers!

Will be a bumper off job. Once off should be very easy to see how it's clipped in.

Not sure if its any help, or even the same process on the MK7 R ? but I replaced the lower grill on MK6 R for exactly the same reason today! (managed to collect a fox   )

I did not have to remove the bumper, just the number plate and holder and then used plastic trim removal tools to unclip the the lower grill out of the bumper.

Then place the new one (147.00 +vat ouch) into the hole and press it in until clips locate. 

It may be a completely different process on the MK7, just thought it may help?

Tell me about it mine has 2 x parking sensors built in hence the price, £40 is a bargain
