The actor has been recently roped in the upcoming Kdrama ‘From Now On, Showtime!’ helmed by MBC. Confirming the same, the actor’s agency shared that a new contract with Choi Sung Won has been put in place as he is going back to work while also being cautious of his health and recovery. Korean actor Choi Sung Won who was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2016, is all set to resume work. The actor has been recently roped in the upcoming Kdrama ‘From Now On, Showtime!’ helmed by MBC. Confirming the same, the actor’s agency shared that a new contract with Choi Sung Won has been put in place as he is going back to work while also being cautious of his health and recovery.While Choi Sung Won battled a long fight with acute leukaemia since May 2016, he was later declared cancer free by the end of the same year.Although he had resumed acting in 2017, he again underwent treatment for cancer in November 2020.Talking about Choi Sung Won’s comeback show, ‘From Now On, Showtime!’ is said to be a fantasy romantic-comedy. It will revolve around a popular magician who can summon ghosts and a passionate police constable with supernatural powers. In the drama, Choi Sung Won will be seen as the husband of a newlywed couple, reportedly.Apart from Choi Sung Won, the drama will also star Park Hae Jin, Jin Ki Joo, Jung Joon Ho and more.
