Chief economist of BIDV; President of BIDV Training & Research Institute, The Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) Sector: Finance and banking Van Luc Can has had an extensive career in financial services industry. Dr. Luc is a prolific contributor to international finance journals and a key speaker at conferences and on commentary programs. He has received awards for outstanding academic performance and contributions to research. Dr. Luc is a member of the Vietnam National Fiscal and Monetary Policy Advisory Council and the Vietnam National Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation.

Thi Thu Giang Dao CPA (Aust.)

Vice president, Foreign Trade University HanoiSector: EducationThi Thu Giang Dao is Foreign Trade University’s vice president. She has 25 years of teaching experience in accounting and is an associate professor in international trade and business. She has published more than 30 books and articles and has contributed extensively to accounting and business management research in Vietnam.

Thi Tuyet Nhung Le CPA (Aust.)

Deputy general director, Accounting and Auditing Policy Department, Ministry of Finance VietnamSector: GovernmentAt AAPD, Ms. Nhung is responsible for overseeing the regulation of auditing, including licensing and inspections, enforcement of auditing standards and other policy matters. She is the vice-chairwoman of the Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants (VACPA) and chairwoman of the Monitoring Committee of Vietnam, which is implementing the Mutual Recognition Agreement on Accountancy Services within ASEAN. She is a member of the ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountant Coordinating Committee (ACPACC).

These positions covered finance, accounting, organisation culture and conduct, financial crime compliance, investigation, business and regulatory compliance, legal, internal audit, market risk, fraud management and operational risk. Lan Anh is the chairperson of legal and compliance sub-committee banking working group of Vietnam Business Forum.
